I now have TWO classes this semester that require blog entries, so hopefully I will be able to keep them separated in a way that makes sense! Today was my first day of Food Styling, and I am already too excited about this class. We don’t quite have a finalized class schedule for Food Styling, but I do know a few of the things that we will get to do! For starters, there is going to be a Valentine Luncheon that we will get to help with. We will also be working on a pretty big Homecoming Project! We are not sure what these two projects will consist of, but I’m sure they will be awesome to work on! The most exciting thing that we will be doing is a photo shoot with an actual food stylist and photographer – not to mention that it literally counts for half of our total grade. I really hope we get to design our own food setup and take our own photos at some point for a grade! I know that Chris Jenkins will be coming into our class at some point to give us some photography technique, and a food stylist will be visiting, too! I really can’t wait to get started, and I will write again next Monday!
